Microfinance Ireland provides business loans of €2,000 to €50,000 to help small businesses start, grow, or expand. We also work closely with the Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs) to give applicants access to mentoring, business planning, and training support.

Yes. If you have an established business and want to expand – for example, by hiring staff, buying equipment, or increasing stock – you can apply for a Business Expansion Loan from Microfinance Ireland.

Once you’ve submitted a complete application with all required documents, you can expect a credit decision within 10 working days.

We support micro-enterprises across Ireland with fewer than 10 full-time employees and an annual turnover of less than €2 million, in sectors such as hospitality, retail, food & drink, construction, manufacturing, services, and agri-business.
