Tomorrow’s Child Montessori School

At Microfinance Ireland, we’re proud to support passionate entrepreneurs who make a real difference in their communities. One of our recent success stories is Cara O’Malley, founder of Tomorrow’s Child Montessori School and a growing school wear supply business based in County Clare.

Cara first opened her Montessori in September 2010, creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children. In July 2023, she expanded her business by launching a second venture—supplying school uniforms and tracksuits to local schools.

Cara faced challenges in accessing traditional funding. With support from Microfinance Ireland, Cara was able to secure the funding she needed in March 2024. The loan helped ease cashflow pressures and allowed her to continue fulfilling uniform and tracksuit orders for schools across the region.

What Cara Had to Say

“Securing a loan through Microfinance Ireland was a turning point for my business. As a small startup, traditional lending options were limited, but Microfinance Ireland offered the support and flexibility I needed.

The application process was straightforward, and the team guided me every step of the way, ensuring my business plan and projections were solid. Thanks to the loan which I received, I was able to invest in essential equipment and stock necessary to begin my new venture.

I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity and highly recommend Microfinance Ireland to any small business looking to grow.”
